Student Opportunities

We invite students to apply for positions, including practicums and co-op opportunities and the First Nations Student Program.

How to apply?

Students

Check for positions on our FNHA job board. We follow the regular hiring and onboarding process for these positions. Roles will vary and are typically 4-month terms, however some positions may be longer.

Co-op opportunities

If you are looking to complete your post-secondary co-op education program with us please visit current opportunities page and apply through our careers portal. People who are First Nations, Inuit or Métis can apply through the Raising our Canoe – First Nations Student Program.

Practicum students

We have several partnerships with post-secondary schools and are happy to work with a student and the school in finding a placement at the FNHA.  We do require a minimum of four to eight weeks’ notice to find an appropriate placement and complete the onboarding process.

Students can email their resumes, cover letters and practicum requirements to students@fnha.ca and our team will assist with potential opportunities. If there is a suitable fit, the hiring manager will be in touch about the placement. Please note an affiliation agreement is required with the post-secondary school.

Post-secondary schools

Send an email to students@fnha.ca with your inquiry, and we will set up a time to discuss a partnership.
