The FNHA is seeking health professionals to join primary care teams across British Columbia.

There are exciting opportunities for new positions and career growth with the opening of First Nations Primary Care Centres throughout the province.

Primary care roles at the FNHA include:

  • Traditional wellness practitioners, Traditional healers, sacred Knowledge Keepers and Traditional wellness coordinators
  • Family physicians
  • Nurse practitioners
  • Registered nurses
  • Licensed practical nurses
  • Medical office assistants
  • Midwives
  • Dentists, dental therapists, dental hygienists, dental assistants
  • Dietitians
  • Mental health professionals, including psychologists, clinical counsellors and registered psychiatric nurses
  • Social workers and navigators 
  • Occupational therapists
  • Physiotherapists

These roles may be available as:

  • Long-term positions
  • Short-term/temporary positions
  • Permanent employee positions
  • Contract positions
